⚽ J-13 Recap
Jornada 13 brought goals, surprises, and a few teams probably rethinking their life choices. Club América absolutely handled Tigres with a smooth 3–0 win, making it look like a training session. Bryan Rodríguez was everywhere—scoring twice and reminding everyone why he's one of the top guys this season. Meanwhile, Toluca kept their hot streak going with a 3–2 win over Pachuca, and Cruz Azul snuck past Chivas with a 1–0 win that felt like a chess match. Even Juárez and Necaxa decided to get in on the fun, both pitching clean sheets, while León somehow lost at home to a Pumas team that remembered how to play fútbol for 90 minutes.
The standings are starting to take shape, and Club América is still flexing at the top with 30 points. Toluca isn’t far behind, and León is hanging on, despite their recent stumbles. Tigres, Cruz Azul, and Necaxa are all neck-and-neck in that fight for the top 4, and Pachuca and Juárez are hoping no one notices them sneaking into Liguilla territory. At the bottom… let’s just say Puebla and Santos Laguna might want to skip checking the table this week.
🔥 Match of the Week: Cruz Azul vs Chivas
Now for Jornada 14, the game to watch is definitely Cruz Azul vs. Pumas. It's capital city bragging rights, both teams are still in the playoff hunt, and honestly, the vibes are always spicy when these two meet. Pumas just pulled off a slick win over León, while Cruz Azul is trying to keep things steady. Expect goals, maybe a red card or two, and fans who will definitely lose their voices by halftime.
As always, the CABRA boys have your best bets lined up for the weekend below!

Don’t Blink — Both Teams Are Scoring Here
We’re backing Both Teams To Score in this one, and the stats are loudly backing us up. Pachuca and América have each only failed to score once all season in Liga MX — that’s wild consistency from both attacks. In fact, their last six head-to-heads have all ended with BTTS cashing. Pachuca has hit BTTS in 5 straight games, scoring 11 goals in that span, and 67% of their matches this season (20 of 30) have landed BTTS. At home, they’ve scored in five straight and haven’t lost in four. They're coming in with momentum too, losing just once in their last five (2W, 2D, 1L).
On the flip side, América might be defensive juggernauts lately — four clean sheets in their last five — but let’s not ignore that BTTS has still hit in 19 of 37 of their total matches this season. They’re also unbeaten in 10 straight away games, scoring 11 goals across their last five matches overall. Pachuca is one of the few sides with the attacking threat to challenge América’s backline, especially in front of their home fans. Add in that Pachuca’s last 9 games have all featured 2+ goals, and the ingredients are there for another back-and-forth. Defense might win championships, but goals win bets — and we like this one to hit. Let’s go.
